Benjamin has 15 years of experience in the financial industry and has spent the last 10 years in Asia Pacific. Before joining FQX, he was a Director in the Real Asset and Structured Finance team of HSBC in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for originating and executing export finance transactions in Southeast Asia.

Benjamin recently graduated with high honours with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Benjamin is a Swiss citizen who is also fluent in French, English, German, and has good command of Chinese and Korean.

An experienced business leader, in his new role Benjamin will focus on building out a network of customers and creating tailored solutions suitable for the different markets and managing the sales and relationship management staff.

FQX, Credit Suisse (Schweiz) AG, SFS & Mikron announce the successful completion of a Pilot using eNotesTM as a financing instrument. In a pilot transaction, leveraging the technology built by the Zurich-based FinTech FQX, Credit Suisse provided financing to SFS & Mikron using the electronic Promissory Note, or eNoteTM. The eNoteTM is a blockchain-based short-term debt instrument with which corporates like SFS & Mikron can radically facilitate their corporate treasury operations while increasing financial steering flexibility.

James Courtenay has served as Member of the Board of FQX AG since the beginning of 2021 and also holds the position of Chief Executive at Heracles Capital Advisors Pte Ltd. He has over 30 years of experience in credit markets with detailed knowledge of managing debt transactions. Until April 2017, he was Global Head of Corporates at Standard Chartered Bank, where he had overall responsibility for all the bank’s large corporate clients across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Frank Wendt is one of the original co-founders of FQX, holding the position of CEO before taking over responsibility as Chairman of the Board of Directors last year. He has played a vital part in the success we enjoy today.

Frank Wendt co-founded FQX in 2019. In 2021, the company completed a successful Seed Round in which Earlybird VC and SIX FinTech Ventures joined as new investors. Meanwhile, FQX has been awarded the prestigious Swiss Fintech Award (Early Stage), the Fintech Germany Award (Best Foreign Market Entrant) and the Best Supply Chain Finance Solution at Hong Kong Fintech Week this year.
